icon Mechanical’s scope of work included core equipment and tenant finish for a building addition to the St. John’s Hospital in Washington, Missouri. The addition consisted of 10 operating rooms, recovery area, ASC area, and a lobby.

icon Mechanical installed three 4-pipe rooftop air handlers. Two AHUs were ducted together to provide 100% redundancy for hospital surgical suites. Both VAV’s and CAV’s with reheat were installed to condition the new spaces in the hospital.

icon also installed operating room booms and medical gas booms in the operating suites. With these, we connected oxygen, medical air, vacuum, nitrogen, and nitrous oxide to their existing system.
