Today’s Technology Planning Tomorrow’s Innovations
icon Mechanical uses Building Information Modeling, or BIM, to assist us in the design/build process. As we plan the structures and systems of tomorrow, having the best technology at our fingertips today lets us adapt how we work to not only better serve our clients, but to also better serve the work that we do.
We have a team of dedicated design professionals utilizing the technologies of BIM in our St. Louis area headquarters who are essential to our planning process. They work with the latest in technology including AutoCAD MEP and Autodesk Navisworks to provide BIM LOD 500 models to seamlessly transition from design to fabrication.
BIM allows us to see the big picture of the physical space and all of the moving parts of the functional space simultaneously so that we can more efficiently plan, design, and build complex systems for our clients per their unique, individual specifications. Through BIM we are able to see a completed system before we bring it to life. This lets us troubleshoot and plan more effectively, in turn saving money and time on our projects for our clients.
