Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrades
icon served as mechanical contractor for a major wastewater treatment plant upgrade, selected based on prior refinery experience and a proven performance record on complex industrial projects. The work was performed while maintaining full operation of the existing facility under an EPA-mandated completion date. Challenges included restricted and hazardous work areas, remote lay-down and craft facilities, a stringent quality program, and a construction start ahead of completed engineering.

Equipment setting: four 500 HP blowers, chemical pumps, floating aerators, clarifiers, and tanks
- Piping systems: storm sewer, process sewer, fire protection, compressed air, steam, utility water, influent/effluent, oxidation air, and chemical additives
- Piping materials: stainless steel, fiberglass, concrete, PVC, galvanized, and carbon steel
Hartford Manifold Replacement
icon executed the replacement of C5/C6 tank transfer connections at the Hartford facility, including safety reviews, inlet flange monitoring, and pump realignment.
Tower Dress Outs
icon managed the receiving, offloading, and erection of two large-diameter process towers:
- Tower 1: 193 ft long x 9'6" diameter, 312,000 lbs
- Tower 2: 133 ft long x 8 ft diameter, 160,000 lbs
