icon Mechanical is proud to have delivered the mechanical systems and components for one of the largest projects in the United States—the $2.64 billion Ultium Cells electric-vehicle battery plant in Spring Hill, TN. This 2.8 million SF joint venture between GM and LG Energy Solution was designed to supply batteries to GM's nearby production plant.

The facility's footprint spans roughly 22 Home Depots, with about 2,000 construction workers on site and 40–60 shipping containers of material arriving daily. Among all bid packages, icon was awarded the largest work scope: a commitment of 69,000 man-hours to the mega-project.

Clean Room Ductwork — Fabrication & Install
